Jack Gordon Park is located next to Southport Yacht Club at Main Beach where the Nerang River meets the Broadwater.
The park has a calm, long sandy beach to fish from as well as a rock wall next to the marina at the Eastern end.
There’s also a large grassed area with shaded seating, picnic tables, BBQ’s, fresh water taps and an enclosed exercise area for dogs.
Jack Gordon Park is a great spot for kayak anglers as it offers easy launching and access to a number of marinas along the Broadwater that usually hold a good number of fish in and around the structure and moored boats.
