Macintosh Island Park is a fantastic fishing location just to the North of the hustle and bustle of Surfers Paradise.
The park has everything to offer the whole family with shady spots, ample seating, covered picnic tables, BBQ’s, toilets, kids playgrounds, wild life and it’s also the home of Big Foot.
There’s a few good fishing spots along the park’s shore line with sandy beaches in the middle and rocky banks at either end by the bridges.
It’s conveniently located within walking distance to several other fishing spots located at Paradise Waters as well as Narrowneck Beach.
Kayak launching is made simple via the sandy beach with easy access to the Nerang River and the local canal systems.
